Are you open year-round?

We are open May through November, weather permitting.

What should I do if my e-scooter is malfunctioning ?

If you encounter any issues with a scooter that could affect your safety or ability to complete your ride, please stop riding it immediately. For your own safety and that of other users, please report the problem to support@kyterides.ca or report within the app by clicking the report button or call 902-709-1880 .

In your message, please include: The scooter name, A description of the issue.

What are your hours of operation?

Our scoters are available 7am to 10pm daily.

I can’t end my ride. What do I do?

Make sure you are in a blue or green zone. Occasionally, a scooter may disconnect from the network. Give it a minute to reconnect and try again. Try reloading the app by closing it and reopening it.

If your trip will still not end, please call us at 902-709-1880.

Can I ride in the rain?

Our e-scooters can withstand moderate rainy situations. However, they will generally not be rideable during inclement weather due to the tire’s low friction. If you choose to ride in the rain, you do so at your own risk. Just please take care of our scooters.

  • I forgot to end the ride.

  • I cannot end my ride.

  • Ride started, but the scooter remains locked.

  • Started ride with a damaged scooter.

How old do you need to be to ride an e-scooter?

Riders must be 16 years or older*.

My scooter is unlocked but won’t start.

Make sure you are not in the red ‘no go zone’. Kick off to a min speed of 5 km per hour and gently press the ‘go’ button. Ensure the scooter has enough battery.

*Waivers must reviewed and signed before use.
